Greetings in the Name of the Lord of the Harvest!

The twofold vision with which I have been labouring for over 50 years now has been “Holy Spirit Revival & New Testament Evangelism!” (This is the original vision of the Blessing Youth Mission founded in 1971.) The first one leads to the second. The Church history is replete with examples of how unusual outpourings of the Spirit resulted in unprecedented ingathering of souls. The Lord in His grace has used me over the years to challenge Christians of various denominations and nations to get actively involved in “Personal Soulwinning, Neighbourhood Evangelism & Missionary Outreach.” This I did through my writings and preaching in Revival Camps and Missionary Conventions. These messages have propelled thousands into soulwinning, evangelistic and missionary activities. To God be all praise!

Of the scores of Missionary Challenge messages I’ve preached the most penetrating ones have been what I spoke in Harvest’ 97, a three evening Missionary Convention of the New Life Assembly of God Church, Chennai, in October 1997. This mega Church is led by my longtime friend, Pastor D. Mohan.

On the eve of this Convention I developed severe back pain due to which I could not even stand. For the first time in my life I preached sitting, with lot of discomfort, with no relief whatsoever by medication or physiotherapy. My English talks were simultaneously translated into Tamil by my friend, Brother A. Jeyaraj. Because of me he also had to sit and speak! Mysteriously the pain totally disappeared and I became perfectly normal the very next day after the Convention. God reminded me that He wanted donkeys and not horses to ride on! It’s in weakness His strength is made perfect!

The three-evening Talks were titled as—

2. Why we fail in Missionary Evangelism
3. Why we disobey the Missionary Call
