Online Letter 160
22 April 2021
Dear Online Friend(s),
Greetings in the Name of Jesus in whose hands we are safe and secure!
I was given another lease of life when I underwent an Open Heart Surgery on 23 April 1996. With an overflowing heart of praise and thanksgiving to God, I'm celebrating the Silver Jubilee of a new beginning in my physical life. Join me thanking God for His mercy and lovingkindness. On this occasion I thank everyone of you who stood with me and helped me in some way or the other during the difficult time.
Following my surgery in 1996, I wrote two articles of testimony. One was published in the 1996 July issue of the Blessing magazine under the title, "Why or Why not?" The other came out in the November issue of the same year, titled, "Who can understand his errors?" These two articles are attached here. Besides these two, I've written another article this month, titled, Open Heart Surgery. This is attached here to bless you.
I request you, dear friend, to pray for me whenever God reminds you. No doubt God has blessed me with rich treasures of His Word so I am able to bless you and millions around the world. But I must never forget and you should always remember that I'm an easily breakable mud pot (2 Cor 4:7).
In days like these, each of us, as never before, realize that our times are in God's hand (Psa 31:15a). Let's therefore join David to confess before Him, "I trust in You, O Lord; I say, 'You are my God!' " (v14).
