Forget not all His Benefits!

 

"Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy Name.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:

who FORGIVES all your iniquities; who HEALS all your diseases;

who REDEEMS your life from destruction; who CROWNS you with lovingkindness

and tender mercies; who SATISFIES your mouth with good things;

so that your youth is renewed like the eagleís" (Psa 103:1-5)

 

1. He forgives you!

 

        "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,

                and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 Jn 1:9)

        "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;

                though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool" (Isa 1:18)

        "To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness,

                though we have rebelled against Him" (Dan 9:9)

        "He has not dealt with us according to our sins; nor punished us according to our iniquities.

                As far as the East is from the West, so far has He removed

                our transgressions from us"  (Psa 103:10,12)

        "You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea" (Mic 7:9)

        "I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities

                I will remember no more" (Heb  8:12)

        "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you" (Mt 9:2)

 

2. He heals you!

 

        "I am the Lord who heals you" (Ex 5:26)

        "He himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses" (Mt 8:17)

        "With His stripes we are healed" (Isa 53:5)

        "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health,

                even as your soul prospers" (3 Jn 2)

        "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children,

                how much more shall your Father who is in Heaven give good things to those

                who ask Him?" (Mt 7:11)

        "With men it is impossible, but not with God;

                for with God all things are possible" (Mk 10:27)

        "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes" (Mk 9:23)

        "Rise, take up your bed, and walk. Behold, you are made whole!" (Jn 5:8,14)

 

3. He redeems you!

 

        "He brought me up out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay,

                    and set my feet upon a rock" (Psa 40:2)

        "You were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold,

                    but with the precious blood of Christ" (1 Pet 1:18,19)

        "Your life is hid with Christ in God" (Col 3:3)

        "I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish; neither shall any one snatch them

                    out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all;

                    and no man is able to snatch them out of My Fatherís hand" (Jn 10:28,29)

        "I know that my Redeemer lives" (Job 19:25)

        "He is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before

                    the presence of His glory with exceeding joy" (Jude 24)

 

4. He crowns you!

 

        "You have crowned man with glory and honour. You have made him to have

                    dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things

                    under his feet" (Psa 8:5,6)

        "You shall be a special treasure to Me above all people: for all the earth is Mine.

                    And you shall be to Me a Kingdom of priests and a holy nation" (Ex 19:5,6)

        "He raises the poor from the dust, and lifts the beggar from the ash heap to

                    set them among princes and make them inherit the throne of glory" (1 Sam 2:8)

        "He loved us .... and has made us kings and priests to God and His Father" (Rev 1:5,6)

        "Blessed be God who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings

                    in heavenly places in Christ" (Eph 1:3)

 

5. He satisfies you !

 

        "Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it" (Psa 81:10)

        "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it

                    more abundantly" (Jn 10:10)

         "He who spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all,

                    how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?" (Rom 8:32)

        "The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want... You prepare a table before me in the

                    presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

                    Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life" (Psa 23:1,5,6)
