Dear Online Friend,

Greetings in the Name of Christ Jesus our Lord who is coming again “surely” and“quickly!” (Rev 22:20).

Gone are the days when every Convention, whether it’s a Gospel programme or a Revival programme, would end with a message on the Second Coming of Christ. One main reason is the overemphasis of physical health and material wealth which has made folks to be concerned mainly about the blessings of this life only (1 Cor 15:19). It’s hardly stressed in sermons that our stay here on this earth is purely temporary. Apostle Paul mourned over such preachers in his time itself (Phil 3:17-21).

Even a few of those who talk about the Second Coming spend too much of time on the “mechanism” of it rather than our “preparation” for it. The “details” of the event of the Second Coming are for God to take care of (Acts 1:6-8). We are to be mainly concerned about “our preparation” for this most glorious event.

With this burden, and as led by the Lord, I have prepared an article, titled, “Are you Ready to Meet your God?” The same is attached herewith, in English and in Tamil, for your study and meditation.

This message is also published as a 20-page colourful pamphlet in English, Tamil, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya and Telugu. The Indian population is over 120 crores (1200 millions). The percentage of Christians in India is 3, which means there are over 3 crores (30 millions) of Christians in this Country. In the first phase, we want to distribute this 20-page pamphlet to each of these 3 crores (30 millions) of Indian Christians. The cost of a pamphlet is Indian Rupees 2/-. Volunteers and contributions welcome. Please pray much for this timely project. This pamphlet was released in a gathering of 120 keen believers from all over Tamilnadu in Salem on 15 August.

If you are living outside India, you can volunteer as a group of believers to organise the distribution of this precious pamphlet to all the Christians in the country where you live. It’s hard work, of course, but which message is more important to be heralded than that of the Second Coming of Christ? Whether the pamphlets are to be printed in India and exported to you, or would you get them printed in your country itself, is to be decided. Please let me know if you would be interested in translating this Message into non-Indian languages also. Don’t hesitate to invest huge sums of money on this project. You may forward this message to editors of various magazines worldwide for possible inclusion in their periodicals. The only condition is that there should be no change in the write-up, and a sample copy of that particular issue should be sent to me (13 Church Colony, Vellore 632 006, India).

Just like “all” the 10 virgins went off to sleep when the Bridegroom delayed, in a sense, there’s a spiritual slumber everywhere among Christians of all Churches (Mt 25:5). Let this message, “Are you Ready to Meet your God?” be a “midnight cry” to wake us up and get us ready (v6). This will bring about a spiritual awakening everywhere.

It should not be difficult to identify a couple of zealous Christians in each Church who can sponsor the distribution of this pamphlet to all the fellow-members in their Church. Don’t wait for someone else to take up these responsibilities. YOU come forward. Though the task was huge, Nehemiah was able to complete the work of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem against all odds, because “the people had a mind to work!” (Neh 4:6).
